When design programs are built especially with the Mac in mind, you know you're going to get a quality application and that's exactly what you get with Intaglio.
Intaglio is a drawing and illustration application exclusively designed for Macs and makes complex technical drawing or illustration an absolute breeze. It illustrates diagrams in 2D allowing you to easily add graphics, text, color, and scripting. If you've previously been drawing in a different application, then Intaglio will convert old drawings from ClarisDraw and MacDraw II/Pro to a format that you can edit inside it.
In addition, it can import and edit a wide range of other formats including PDF, EPS, SVG, and many bitmap file formats such as JPEG, PNG, and TIFF. The nice thing is that you can simply drag and drop them out of any application and put them straight into Intaglio for editing. Most beginners however may find Intaglio a little too advanced for their needs (despite it's ease of use) and it's those that draw vector graphics, scientific illustrations or advanced graphic designs that will get the most out of it.
Intaglio is one of the best all round drawing and design orientated apps out there for the Mac, and users of all levels will find something useful in it.
